The role

What does a Full-Stack Media Buyer do at Brand North?

A Full-Stack Media Buyer owns client accounts end to end: Google Ads (Search and Performance Max) and Meta, the landing pages, call and form tracking and conversion uploads, and the reporting and client updates. Every client is a behavioral health treatment center.

You start by taking over an existing book of accounts and grow into more as you prove out. You run the day to day, own performance, and report results clearly.

What you'll do

  • Build, launch and optimize Google Ads (Search and Performance Max) and Meta campaigns for a book of accounts.
  • Manage budgets, bids, keywords, negatives and audiences toward cost per qualified lead and admit.
  • Build and iterate landing pages, and set up and maintain the integrations and conversion tracking each account depends on.
  • Run end-to-end onboarding for new accounts so the department can grow without bottlenecks.
  • Own call and form tracking and conversion uploads, and keep data clean from click to admit.
  • Hold every account to behavioral health advertising compliance, including LegitScript and Google healthcare policy.
  • Run the daily and weekly routines in the Ads Hub, with Claude Code handling the checks, diagnostics and change lists.
  • Work directly with account managers on client goals, and with the Head of Paid Media and senior consultant on strategy for the largest accounts.
  • Produce clear, honest reporting and client updates.

Requirements

What do you need for this role?

Three or more years of hands-on Google Ads management, strength in Search, Performance Max and conversion tracking, and the range to build landing pages and wire up integrations, not only manage campaigns.

What you'll need

  • Three or more years of hands-on Google Ads management, ideally across multiple accounts at an agency.
  • Strong on Search and Performance Max, and on conversion tracking with GA4 and offline conversions.
  • Comfortable with call tracking platforms such as CallTrackingMetrics or CallRail.
  • Able to build and adjust landing pages and wire up integrations, not only manage campaigns.
  • Self-directed and organized enough to carry a full book and own outcomes.
  • Available during Eastern business hours (9–5 ET), and this is your only job.
  • Clear communicator who can explain performance to clients and teammates.

Nice to have

  • Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or another regulated, high-intent lead-generation vertical.
  • Familiarity with LegitScript and healthcare advertising policy.
  • Meta ads, server-side tracking (Google Tag Manager, Stape), and Looker Studio.
  • CRM familiarity such as Salesforce or Dazos.

FAQ

Questions about the Full-Stack Media Buyer role

Is the Full-Stack Media Buyer role remote?

Yes. The role is remote within the United States, and you need to be authorized to work in the US.

Is this a W-2 job or a contract role?

It is a full-time W-2 position. It is not a contract or 1099 role.

Who will I work with?

You report to the Head of Paid Media. You work with account managers on client goals, and with the Head of Paid Media and a senior consultant on strategy for the largest accounts.

What tools will I use?

Google Ads and Meta for campaigns, and the Ads Hub, Brand North's internal platform, for account data. Every buyer gets a Claude seat, with Claude Code plugged into the Hub for daily checks, diagnostics and change lists. You make the changes in Google Ads and Meta yourself.

How long does the hiring process take?

There are four steps: apply with a Loom, a 45-minute interview with the Head of Paid Media, a 30-minute interview with our CEO, then an offer. We review every application within 5 business days.

How to apply

How do you apply for the Full-Stack Media Buyer role?

Record a Loom, then send it to us with a short application form. We review every application within 5 business days.

Applications open soon. Follow Brand North on LinkedIn to hear when they open.

Step 1: Record a Loom.

  1. Introduce yourself: your background, and the account you’re proudest of.
  2. The problem (a made-up example): a detox center spends $40,000 a month on Google Ads. Over the last three weeks its cost per admission went from about $4,000 to $8,000. Calls are steady, but fewer callers make it to an insurance verification (VOB). Walk us through how you’d find the cause, and what you’d change in your first week. Share your screen if it helps.

Set the Loom so anyone with the link can watch it, and leave out client names.

Step 2: Fill in the application form

The form asks for:

  • Your name, phone, email, location and LinkedIn profile.
  • The hours you can work (this role works 9–5 Eastern), your strengths and your experience.
  • Why you want to work with Brand North, and your salary expectation.
  • Your Loom link: paste it into “Do you have anything else you want to share?” Applications without a Loom aren’t reviewed.
  • Your resume (upload).
